Mage and Maleficar Differences
Mage
A mage practises arcane magic. Official sanction is a legal status granted under the rules recognised by the relevant jurisdiction.
Maleficar
A maleficar practises forbidden magic. Which laws and penalties apply depends on the jurisdiction; the Association and the Eye do not have automatic authority everywhere.
