Lothaycor
Lothaycor and the Southern Isles

Known as Western Lurra, the continent of Lothaycor serves as the birthplace of civilization in Lurra, holding a rich tapestry of histories that have shaped its diverse cultural landscape. Its territories have been home to myriad races, each contributing to its unique and complex identity.
Lothaycor’s chronicles begin with the first human settlers, their arrival marked by the emblematic tale of two birds, a falcon and an eagle. This legend speaks of a division of humanity into two factions, chasing after these avian symbols. The eagle's followers ventured towards the founding of the Grand Kingdom of Venris, renowned for its heritage and resilience. Those in pursuit of the falcon embarked north, leading to the establishment of the Kingdom of Antadour, a territory symbolizing exploration and discovery.
Elven history in Lothaycor traces its roots back to Arvis, but their community fractured following a significant event known as the Planemeld. The High Elves chose to remain in Arvis, a land heavily influenced by the Feywild. The Dark Elves ventured northward, creating their home in Angathor. The Wood Elves decided to leave Lothaycor altogether, traveling south to establish their empire on a different continent. A small faction of elves, untouched by the Planemeld, migrated north to Engorr, evolving into a distinct subrace known as the Snow Elves.
Lothaycor next welcomed the Dwarves, a sturdy and resilient race, not native to Lurra. Escaping their world's devastation at the hands of Asmodeus, they arrived through a portal opened by their pantheon. They swiftly adapted to their new home, founding the Kingdom of Stalmont, their first realm in this world. As proud defenders of Lurra for millennia, they assimilated with the residing races while a faction journeyed north to Engorr.
The Sahr Desert in Lothaycor is home to the native orcs, a tribe of wise, spiritual warriors. Their peaceful coexistence with other races was disrupted by the rise of the Sahr Confederation, leading to the subjugation and enslavement of many orcs.
Beyond the mainland, Lothaycor's cultural sphere extends to the Southern Isles. Among these, Cadena stands as the largest, operating as a colony and former penal settlement of the Grand Kingdom of Venris. Within the Southern Isles, one can also find the Republic of Rhimallo, an island state distinguished by its thriving trade economy.
The Ten Pillars are Lothaycor’s religion, expressed through different regional and cultural traditions, including those of the High Elves. Drahgor Druh survives as myth and a relic of the dwarves’ old world; its gods are dead.
In summary, Lothaycor or Western Lurra is a continent of profound historical significance, imbued with a rich blend of cultures, races, and faiths. Its narrative is carved by the footprints of the numerous settlers who have called it home, each shaping its landscape and identity.
