History

House Arenthon is an ancient lineage from Venris, ruling continuously since the establishment of the kingdom. Known for their forceful and self-serving rule, the Arenthons preside over Venris’s exploitation of the dependent Duchy of Antadon. The kingdom’s role as protector does not make this relationship a fair one. Their symbol is a seated eagle in a closed crown - a sign of strong, independent authority. This lineage is renowned for their strong belief in the Ten Pillars, particularly in the goddess Kadilia. Under their rule, their state became a superpower capable of subjugating half of the continent.

Full name - Valouis Arenthon, Prince of Periyonne.

The sole rightful heir of King Rommald and Queen Guinevere. He is a complete opposite of his father - he is faithful to his wife, holds a very liberal attitude towards religion, and maintains a strong connection with the common people. He is also an excellent swordsman and gryphon rider.

He serves as a paladin loyal to his father and his country. Like other paladins, he draws his magic from a deity; political loyalty and an oath are not sources of divine power.
