Gromog Ghostclaw was born into the Spiritclaw Clan, a nomadic orc tribe that roamed the harsh expanses of the Sahr Desert. Like his kinsfolk, Gromog was trained in the ways of survival and combat from an early age, honing his strength, speed, and archery skills against the desert's harsh conditions and hostile creatures. But what truly set Gromog apart was not his prowess with the bow, but rather his ghostly pale skin, a trait that led to his nickname, Ghostclaw.
As a child, Gromog was the victim of a rare lycanthropic curse, a dreaded affliction that transformed its host into a hybrid form of a werewolf during the full moon. Struggling to control this transformative curse, Gromog was considered an outsider within his clan, even feared by some. Desperate to harness and control the beast within, Gromog left his desert home to seek out the fabled Hunters of the Crimson Veil, rumored to dwell within the canals of the City of Venris.
After an arduous journey, he found the Hunters and pledged himself to their cause. Under the guidance of the order's Lycan Warden, he learned to embrace his lycanthropic curse, transforming it from a monstrous liability into a powerful weapon. In doing so, he became one of the order’s hunters specialising in lycanthropic transformations, warriors who used their controlled transformations to hunt and vanquish the darkest creatures of Lurra.
Since then, Gromog Ghostclaw has served the Hunters of the Crimson Veil as a stalwart defender against the supernatural, using his bow and his hybrid form to strike fear into the hearts of those who would threaten the realm. His pale skin, once a mark of his outcast status, now serves as a symbol of his unique strength and a reminder of his hard-fought journey to control the beast within.
