Kingdom of Stalmont

In this entry

Kingdom of the Drahgor Exiles

King Dregan, the Hammer of Drahgor, rules a kingdom shared by dwarves and metallic dragonborn. Stalmont is a steadfast ally of Venris, known for its rich metal deposits and the weapons produced at the Great Forge.

Flight from Drahgor

Both peoples came to Lurra as refugees from Drahgor. When Asmodeus and his legions overwhelmed their homeland, the dwarven gods opened a portal through which they escaped. These archdragons, the first metallic dragons on Lurra, enabled the survivors to settle and rebuild.

The gods of Drahgor are now dead. Their stories survive as a relic of the old world, rather than a living source of divine power.

Mines and the Great Forge

Stalmont’s mines yield metals ranging from common iron to mithril. Dwarven and dragonborn miners preserve the skills of their ancestors and honour the memory of the archdragon gods.

At the heart of the kingdom stands the Great Forge, also known as the Halls of Dahlarm, the main dwarven city on Lothaycor. Its smiths turn the kingdom’s ores into weapons. The work preserves the craft traditions of both peoples and their memory of Drahgor.
