Laura Argis

Age - 21Race - Half-High ElfSex - FemaleOccupation -  Knight of the Eye of Saquirius

History

Laura is the daughter of Ergenos Argis and Elowenya Moonlithe, and Corrion’s fraternal twin. The children grew up at the Antadon court under their grandfather Duke Whyllis’s care, with family affection and demanding training shaping their childhood.

Laura initially wanted to combine martial skill with arcane magic as her father had. She was agile and athletic, but her attempts to master the arcane fell short of her hopes. Physical discipline became the foundation of her training, while Corrion showed a stronger inclination towards magic.

At sixteen, she joined the Eye of Saquirius, the order that hunts maleficar. She trained under Inquisitor Alaya Whiteflame and was knighted by twenty.

In 1025, Laura serves the Eye but is still searching for a long-term purpose of her own. She wants her life to amount to more than following Ergenos’s example or being known as his daughter. Her place in the order gives her a present direction; what she ultimately wants to make of it remains unsettled. Loyalty to the order and care for her family both matter to her, and the demands of the two can be difficult to reconcile.

Characteristics

Laura is confident, brave and trustworthy. She takes her commitments to the order seriously and cares deeply for those close to her.
