Raveth Etheyn
Age - 241Race - Dark elfSex - MaleBirthplace - UnknownOccupation - Angathorian Enforcer
History
Raveth comes from the influential House Etheyn of Angathor. His early aptitude for arcane magic led to specialised training at the heart of the Empire. The instruction was demanding and often brutal; he emerged from it as a necromancer.
Angathor rejects the Mage’s Association’s oversight and permits necromancy without the restrictions imposed elsewhere. Raveth spent years developing his craft there before taking command of an Angathorian garrison in Harfdour, the ruined capital of Antadour.
His work served the Empire’s defence and expansion. Anticipating the war that would follow the opening of Angathor’s gates, he established a network of spies in Venris and Antadon.
Ergenos Argis, Elathir Timbervale and Darrig Lightstone dismantled that network and defeated him. Raveth survived the confrontation through a soul vessel concealed within an undisclosed object. The vessel can be destroyed, leaving his survival dependent on something his enemies could still reach.
He continues to plot against Ergenos and his companions. Revenge now accompanies the loyalty to Angathor that drove his earlier work.
Personality Traits
Raveth is a calculating, persistent strategist who seeks power and control. He is ruthless in pursuing his aims and deeply loyal to Angathor. Defeat has not ended his plans; it has given him a personal grievance against the people who stopped them.
